Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence ReCEPL4STAI
Università degli Studi Suor Orsola Benincasa

The Research Centre in European Private Law for
Stustainable & Trustworthy Artificial Intelligence

ReCEPL4STAI is a centre built around polymathic jurists — legal scholars who master STEM disciplines in their own right, rather than merely collaborating across them — working on the design of AI systems in compliance with the European AI strategy, through research, teaching and dissemination. This structured integration of legal sciences and STEM gives the Centre its strongly innovative, transnational character. It promotes trustworthy, sustainable AI that respects EU values and considers AI’s impact on human rights, the environment and the European Single Market.
